She received her PhD in Psychology from the University of Valencia, specialist in Clinical Psychology and certificate for Teaching. Esperanza has performed her duties as a Psychologist Specialist in Clinical Psychology and Management Technician at various Hospitals and Health Centers. Since 2003 she is a professor in the Department of Developmental Psychology and Education at the University of Valencia, where she has taught psychology, social education, social work, pedagogy and teaching. Esperanza also teaches courses in University’s Master of Psychogerontology and Physiotherapy in aging.

She has developed clinical works and researches in the fields of childhood and aging. Her interests in research concern the optimal, normal and pathological aging, and the factors involved in them. She is director of “Psychology” research line in InterTech, and she is also a board member of InterTech Cooperation.

Juan Jose Fernández Muñoz was born in Madrid, on 1979. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and is a lecturer of Social Psychology at Rey Juan Carlos University from 2007. He has also been a visiting lecturer in Satakunta University in Finland. He has completed a Master´s degree in Methodology of Research in Social Science and currently he is finishing a Master in Advanced Methods of Applied Statistics from UNED.

His main research interests are in the fields of Social Psychology: early retirement psychosocial processes, workaholism and self-efficacy, destination-image perception and methodology of behavior sciences.

Moisés graduated with a degree in Physical Sciences at the University of Valencia in 1988. Then, he conducted some research projects on Physics at the European Space Agency (ESTEC/ESA) in The Netherlands. Later, he has been working at a telecommunication company mostly as manager of international projects.

Currently, Moisés is following a Master degree in Photonics at the University of Vigo while working on his Ph.D. thesis on cognitive functions and attentional processes in the brain of children. The thesis will combine field work for data collection, applied mathematics for the processing of such data as well as software development in the field of psychology.

Andrea was born in Francelos (Spain) in 1985. She received her BA on Psychology from the University of Salamanca in 2008 and the title of University Expert on dependent care from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in 2010. She finished her Master studies in Psychogerontology in the Universitat de València and the Diploma in Social Education from the Universidad de Salamanca. She is doctorate on health of informal caregivers devoted to persons in dependency situations: explanatory model.

Her research interests revolve around the biopsychosocial health of caregivers of dependent people, in the design of programs of emotional development, and in the impact of stressful events on health.
